this is my first attempt at a wall hanging.

the base is MDF 3''x8''.

painted with cream emulsion and the stamps are from unity stamps, watercoloured and parts of the images are glazed. the flowers are from prima.

this is for the march friendship swap.

new tilda spring stamp used, coloured using promarkers.

think i need a wee bit more practice with them.

paper, button and bee charm all from my stash.

prima flowers are highlighted with gold pen.

had really good fun with this challenge. as you can see we used the same materials as each other but came up with different cards.

i used the threading water punch and prisma pencils to colour the image ands made a paper bow.

i hope my partner has as much fun i as did.

this is for the jan friendship swap on dc.

first time using plasma as cardstock, it is quite difficult to score and fold (then again it could be my hands not being able to put a lot of pressure on the plasma) used cuttlebug embossing folder on core'dinations and then sanded, added flowers and ribbons also some skittles. hope she likes it....

i am not the best at taking photo's lol x

oops forgot to say stamped on the plasma using pb stamp and white stazon...

rebecca is now 3 months old

hello again
have had a really good weekend , was taken out for a lovely meal on sat night for my birthday,by my lovely hubby. sam,garham and rebecca were there as were close friends bill and liz.
and today i met up with the rest of the crabbit crafters for lunch and what a lovely day it was .it was just so nice to catch up with everyone.

I am just sitting vegging out with my feet up, laptop on my lap(where else lol) watching the telly....well we all know women can multi task.
that is my 2 days at work done for this week,because i finished up on the 17 th dec and didn't start back until yesterday there was a lot of paper work to catch up on i am all typed out lol...

it is hard to believe i will be 50 years old on monday...my age doesn't bother me but that seems awfully big number!!!!. I am only 25 in my head !!! then when i look in the mirror and there is a middle age woman looking back at me ........and i think she had a lot of fun getting to look like that hee hee .

I am looking forward to spending some time with sam and rebecca tomorrow......

My first card upload....it is for the friendship swap on the docrafts site

This is my first time for using Promarkers.also first time masking stamps, I think a wee bit more practise is required.

I cut tilda out and mounted her onto acetate, stamped a couple of swirls onto acetate with white stazon and then added some prima flowers.

Well I hope everyone had a guid new year.
We all had a shopping trip yesterday to the Metro Centre in Newcastle.. it was a big adventure for Rebecca she was so well behaved . She was loving the sights and sounds of the centre...well on her way to being a people watcher like her mummy and granma lol

well the bathroom is almost finished...woo hoo.
I will post photos when it is completly finished.
John is away getting paint (I chose the colour).
so I hope we can get it done today . well off to finish hoovering etc...........what an exciting life i live. lol...

wooo hoooo i managed to get a few photo,s uploaded , rebecca was only a few weeks old in them.
and yes i did manage to have a shower last night and this morning....bliss.

well for something really exciting now i am off to tesco .....oh i can hardly contain my excitment hee hee hee...

well its a few hours later and I have been looking about and trying to get the hang of things.
I an getting lots of time to do this as my husband(john) is at this moment fitting a new bathroom suite ....... have been without water a few times, so may have to visit my friend just up the road for a shower as my hair is like a burst couch lol!!! i also have a few cards to make..

i think i may try uploading photo's next, wish me luck lol
